The article examines the main directions of development of vocational education, including the transition from traditional teaching methods to active and interactive ones, as well as strengthening the role of information technology in the educational process. The importance of a competency-based approach is emphasized, which contributes to the development of critical thinking skills, social adaptability and readiness for independent learning in future teachers. The study proposes a system of modules focused on the development of key competencies, such as the axiological foundations of education, projective-empirical experience, technological approaches, reflective and diagnostic tools, as well as mechanisms of social partnership. The presented model makes it possible to prepare undergraduates for professional activities based on pedagogical values and meeting the requirements of the modern educational environment.
